Our Plant

I’m having a competition with my friend Hannah on who can grow their plant the fastest. She found these ‘llama dropping’ seeds in her garden and gave me some to plant.

Here’s a pic of it:

We call them llama dropping seeds because they came in a long pod thing and are flat and round (they look like these English sweets called galaxy minstrels…oh they are so good). We get them when nanny comes down from England.

This is what they look like:

Uggh…and I just cut my finger with a knife making my roll -.-

stupid sandwich and knife…hah..nah it was my fault. I’m not gonna blame it on the sandwich 😛

Anyway, my brothers and I are planting them and after weeks they are finally starting to sprout. Hannah found out that they are these vine plants with purple flowers on them that she has hanging on her porch. Because they’re vines I’m gonna have to make a wire net attached to two sticks or something so they can wind around it when they grow a bit bigger.

I just watered them again now and it’s a sunny day today so that’s good for them.

Okay…we’re going to the beach now yay!

Trampolining!

Today my siblings, many many many friends and people who I don’t even know, and I, went to this massive trampolining place! It was amazing!

Here’s a pic of it:

I don’t know why but there are these little white marks on the photo like it hasn’t loaded properly or something has gone wrong on my computer. This happens sometimes…oh well, you can still see most of it 😉

I suck at tramp at gymnastics because I’m scared I’ll land on my head but at this one I could jump so high and do more than I could at gymnastics. The pit is much softer than the one at gymnastics and I could so all this weird moves and land on my head and it didn’t hurt! I can’t do much on the tramp anyway so all I did were some front saults, handsprings, roundoffs and this weird front sault with my legs straight (I think it’s called a pike) aaaand…I did a back sault for the first time. It was into the pit though so not that exciting but I have always feared it!

Time to get up and dressed now. 🙂

Building Blocks

Last night by siblings and I gathered all the blocks we could find and make a massive castle!

We started building it at 10pm…not a good idea. I am so tired today. I need lots of sleep.

It took forever because we kept ruining it but eventually it was built!

Here’s what it looked like:
(I say looked because we called my dog into the room and he destroyed the right side of it…we couldn’t be bothered to rebuild it)

I know it doesn’t look that big but it took us ages to build and we kept demolishing it along the way…so we consider it an acheivement 😛

This morning

OK so this morning I woke up and there was this bright orange glow right through the house. I love it when this happens because everything looks warm. I have been meaning to take a photo of it for ages now and so I rushed to my laptop and snapped one before it could go away.

Here’s a pic of it:

I think it looks pretty cool 🙂

I’m gonna go watch Shawn the Sheep with my siblings now! Ha.

My New Haircut

Yesterday I got a new haircut! I’ve been wanting one for a while and it’s much shorter than it was. I just got all the ‘dead-bits’ off it. It’s really cool because it’s layered at the front so my fringe kind of gradually gets longer. The lady straightened my hair with this really cool straightener (twice as big as my own) and it only took about a minute until she was done. That’s 30x faster than it takes me! So, I got my hair all nice and after the haircut I had to run out to the car and it was raining…my hair got wet a bit and a bit windblown. Now it’s not as straight as it was but still real cool.
Here’s a pic of the back view:

Drawstring Bag

Today I was very bored and so I decided to make a drawstring bag!
It was very easy to do and works really well. I’m going to send it to my cousin 🙂
Here’s what it looks like:

I just got back from the beach and had to change my clothes because my mum kicked my siblings’ soccer ball into the ocean and it was drifting away, quickly. So I was the brave one of us and waddled in holding my pants up but then the water go too deep so I just let go and  started swimming. The water was like liquid ice! If that is possible. So I had to go home soaked… 😛

And that was the most interesting thing that happened to me today 🙂

Not very interesting is it 😉

Hunger Games Journal

Week 4: Page 338 – 454

‘The Hunger Games’ is one of the most terrifying, hair-raising and exhilarating novels I have ever read. This book will make you realise how lucky you are; that you have food on the table, a bed to sleep in and you can easily go out and buy a goat if you wanted to -unlike the impecunious people in the districts. Katniss’ immense amount of courage and valour she sustained throughout the ‘Hunger Games’ inspired me because even though she was risking her life she still showed determination and courage which I think is amazing. ‘The Hunger Games’ will draw you in from the very first page and once you start reading, you won’t want to put the book down!
